These 2 recordings were done in our house in Berlin, CT. We've never heard this woman before and when the original recording is played it sounds like she was right in the room with us!
This recording was done right in my home in CT. We often turned the recorder on overnight to see who was about! He forgot it was on when he got up early one morning. I almost always call him "honey". He thought he heard me calling him. I was still sleeping. When we played the tape back later on, we had actually picked up the voice he heard!
This was recorded in Gettysburg, PA at the site of the Virginia Monument. My husband was born and raised in the south and knows the battles of the civil war inside and out! He was a re-enactor for many years and can tell you what happened at each spot of that battlefield in Gettysburg and on which day! In front of the monument is a large field, with wooded areas on either side. We had a gal with us playing period music on a dulcimer. The whole time we were there, I was getting very strong psychic impressions of soldiers coming across the field towards us, as well as several coming through the woods towards the monument. I sensed them very tired, worn out, feeling defeated. My vision was that they were walking shoulder to shoulder, almost holding each other up. When I explained to my husband what I saw, he explained that these men were trudging back toward their campsite after being badly defeated in battle that day, through the exact woods I had seen them.
He was facing the field near the dulcimer with the recorder. At one point, the recorder was knocked over by some unseen force and we couldn't get it to work the rest of the trip. We were almost going to throw it out, but I convinced him not to and see what happened once we got it home. Sure enough, the recorder works fine and we were able to hear this evp!
